About me
Blending multi-octave vocals and world-class tap dancing on a soulful setlist of classic and contemporary hits, Solomon Jaye delivers a high-energy, genre-spanning performance style that sets him apart as a truly unique entertainer. His signature production, Tap Into Soul, offers an exciting take on timeless music—moving seamlessly from James Brown, Al Green, and Stevie Wonder to Earth, Wind & Fire, Bruno Mars, and Ed Sheeran—brought to life through electrifying footwork, live musicianship, and dynamic stage presence.

Audiences may recognize Jaye from performances and collaborations with GRAMMY-winning and chart-topping artists including Pentatonix, Jessie J, Robin Thicke, MKTO, Mindi Abair, and Broadway stars Shoshana Bean and Katharine McPhee. Whether on major festival stages, in theaters, or aboard luxury cruise lines, he consistently delivers an engaging, cross-generational entertainment experience.

A Houston native, Jaye studied voice at Oklahoma City University and trained under renowned tap artists Heather Cornell and the late Robert L. Reed. He has since gone on to headline internationally for brands and stages including Royal Caribbean, Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Disney, and Kia, with additional appearances at SunFest, Florida Music Festival, and the Levitt Amp Concert Series, as well as performances in Las Vegas at The Palms, Rio, and Gibson Showrooms.

In addition to his live productions, Jaye is a recording artist with releases including Ordinary Man and Live: In Extraordinary Colors. Now based in Orlando, he continues to tour worldwide, bringing a fresh, high-impact approach to live music and performance.
“Written by Solomon Jaye, “Monsters” is a smooth-groovin’ duet between Jaye and singer / stage actress, Shoshana Bean. Lyrically similar to a recent hit of a similar name by Eminem and Rihanna, I’m not sure which is the “chicken” or the “egg.” However, Jaye’s is an overall better written and more enjoyable song.”

“Ordinary Man is a very creative combination of soulful music for every occasion... Ordinary Man keeps you engaged by changing up the content and style... The arrangement is perfect and the vocals really highlight the instrumentation.”
